This series brings together two TFP fashion shoots carried out just a few days apart with fashion model Chaila Rowell in Diego-Suarez, Madagascar. Some of the photographs were taken around the famous Colbert Street, while others were captured in a car scrapyard located inside the Antsiranana fire station. I came up with the overall concept, the artistic direction, and the choice of props. Chaila took care of the outfit and makeup, found the scrapyard location, and obtained permission for us to enter the fire station. For the images shot among the wrecked cars, I drew very loose inspiration from Monica Bellucci's character in Jan Kounen's Dobermann.
