New York is a city we all know, even if we've never set foot in it. Cinema, television and photography have given us thousands of images of it. For a few days, I wandered around the city without any real itinerary. A dash of Manhattan, a splash of Queens, then drown the whole thing in a generous dose of the Bronx and Brooklyn. Shake vigorously, add a few ice cubes (and a little cocktail umbrella), and you might just end up with a few Accidental Fictions...
