Ambilobe is one of the towns I enjoyed most during my street photography marathon across Madagascar. Located at the crossroads of two national highways, it exudes a distinctive atmosphere, almost worthy of the Wild West. On that particular morning, I woke at 4 a.m. to capture the light and mood of daybreak. The few vehicles making their way through town at that hour sent large clouds of dust swirling into the air along the unpaved roads, creating a scene with a distinctly cinematic feel.
