En vitrine!

An ordinary late afternoon in the windy streets of Diego-Suarez. The sun is still warm, yet it is already continuing its journey towards other continents, stretching the shadows as it goes. Protective in its own way, it has taken care to shelter the children, keeping the sidewalk safe from its burning rays.

The tuk-tuk driver is not so fortunate. Though he moves forward, squinting into the light, he cannot help but open his eyes wide to question the photographer. Encapsulated behind his small windscreen, as if displayed in a shop window, he seems to say to me:
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?"
