Floating Frame Presentation

Some artworks available on this website are offered in a premium finish combining a museum-quality Fine Art print with a floating frame.

What is a floating frame?

A floating frame is a high-end framing method widely used by contemporary art galleries and photography exhibitions. Unlike a traditional frame, the artwork is not covered by glass and does not come into direct contact with the frame itself.

Left: a 24 × 30 cm photograph presented in a floating frame. Right: a 40 × 50 cm version.

A small gap is intentionally left between the edges of the artwork and the frame, creating the impression that the piece is suspended within its frame. This subtle "floating" effect gives the artwork a striking visual presence and a distinctly contemporary aesthetic.

A gallery-quality presentation

The floating frame places the emphasis entirely on the image itself. The absence of glass eliminates distracting reflections and allows viewers to fully appreciate the details, contrasts, and rich surface texture of the Fine Art paper.

Today, this style of framing is considered one of the finest ways to present photographic works, contemporary paintings, and artworks exhibited in galleries.

Built to last

Before framing, each print is carefully mounted onto a rigid 2 mm Dibond® panel. This aluminum composite support ensures perfect flatness and provides exceptional long-term stability.

The mounted artwork is then fitted into a carefully crafted floating frame, resulting in an elegant, durable, and museum-quality presentation.

Ready to hang

Each artwork is delivered ready to hang, with no additional assembly required.

This premium finish transforms the photograph into a true work of art and allows you to enjoy a presentation comparable to that of professional galleries and exhibitions from the moment it arrives.

Each large-format floating-framed artwork (40 × 50 cm or 40 × 60 cm) is individually signed and numbered.
